The title track “Lady of Knock” was written by Dana and Damien Scallon in 1981, immediately after they visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Knock, in Co. Mayo, Ireland. This hymn commemorates the apparition of August 21st, 1879, when the Blessed Virgin, St Joseph, St John the Evangelist and Jesus Christ (the Lamb of God) surrounded with angels, appeared at the gable wall of the local parish church of St John the Baptist. The apparition remained there for almost two hours and was witnessed by 1fifteen villagers aged from five years, to seventy four years old. Dana and Damien’s hymn is now the official theme song of the Shrine. It was sung in old St Patrick’s Cathedral, NY, during the 2017 reinternment of John Curry; the youngest witness of the Knock apparition. This CD also includes the iconic, "Christ Be Beside Me" (St. Patrick's Breastplate), "Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace", “Praise the Lord” and other beautiful hymns.
